    Welcome to Glen Lake Mighty Mites Baseball Association

    Glen Lake Mighty Mites Baseball Association invites boys and girls ages 4 through 12 living in Minnetonka, Eden Prairie, Hopkins and surrounding communities to enjoy a wonderful baseball and family experience. GLMM caters to all levels of ability, from beginner to those looking for a competitive travel baseball experience. A few of the highlights of our league for kids and parents:

    • Learning the fundamentals of baseball in a positive, kid friendly environment
    • Playing a great game with old friends while making new friends
    • Understanding good sportsmanship and team building
    • Developing the skills necessary to continue to play baseball beyond the grade school level. 

    Tentative Schedule

    • Registration opens January 1st. All house league games start late April/early May, and typically end around the 4th of July holiday, depending on when the 4th falls during the week.
    • Rookie League/T-Ball events are Saturdays only. Cost $50. Ages 4-6. 6 year olds with 1 prior year playing Rookie League may consider playing Machine Pitch 1.
    • Machine Pitch-1 and 2 practices start in April (1-2 per week). Cost: MP-1 - $90, MP-2 - $100.
    • B-Ball & A-Ball will have training clinics in March and then practices in April. Cost: B-Ball - $125, A-Ball - $135.
    • 9U-12U Travel tryouts happen in April and team formations are announced in early May. Practices and scrimmages happen 1-2 times per week. Teams play 2-3 tournaments between May and August. 9U Travel tryouts are in May and they participate in 2 tournaments between May and August.

    Age Group Guidelines

    • Rookie League/T Ball - 4 to 6 year olds (Pre-school and Kindergarten).  Kindergartners who played T-ball last year are encouraged to move up and play MP 1.
    • Machine Pitch 1 – 1st grade
    • Machine Pitch 2 – 2nd grade
    • B-Ball – 3rd & 4th grade
    • A-Ball – 5th & 6th grade
