All Sportsmanship Teams
9th Annual All Sportsmanship Game Saturday July 10th, 2010
A Ball Game 6:00pm - Optimist #2 / B Ball Game 6:00pm - Optimists #1
One of the goals of GLMM is to teach sportsmanship. 9 years ago the league put together an All Sportsmanship game intended to honor and highlight players from the A-ball and B-ball levels that exhibit the highest levels of honor and sportsmanship. Players are selected by their respective teammates, one each 1st year and 2nd year (2 2nd Year for B Ball), as the players that best fulfill these ideals.
The game also recognizes two coaches that exhibit high levels of integrity and sportsmanship and expend extra efforts to further the mission of the league. Coaches are recommended by their peers and selected by the GLMM Board.
The All Sports game is a fun exhibition game to showcase these selected individuals. The All Sports game is held annually on "Championship Weekend".
